Carly Fiorina (b. Cara Carleton Sneed on September 6, 1954, in Austin, Texas) is a possible 2016 Republican candidate for President of the United States. Notably, Fiorina served as the CEO of Hewlett-Packard from 1999-2005 and ran for United States Senate in California in 2010.[1]

Fiorina ran unsuccessfully for United States Senate in California against Sen. Barbara Boxer (D).


Fiorina and her second husband, Frank, raised Frank's two daughters, Traci and Lori Ann. Lori passed away during the 2010 U.S. Senate campaign.[2]

Fiorina was diagnosed in 2009 with breast cancer. After a double mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation, she was given an "excellent prognosis."[3]
