Moss received her Educational Administration Certification from the University of Utah. She also received her BA and MA in English from the University of Utah.
Moss is a retired High School Teacher.

Issues
Public education
Moss is one of a coalition of Democratic legislators currently working on legislation to improve Utah's public school system. She has stated, referring to a desire to improve the school system, "We are the minority but I think we represent the majority in this regard in the public."[1]
Elections
2012
Moss won re-election in the 2012 election for Utah House of Representatives District 37. Moss was unopposed in the June 26 Democratic primary and defeated Anne-Marie Lampropoulos (R) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2]
