Carol Tempel wasa 2012 Democratic candidate for District 115 of the South Carolina House of Representatives. She was one of hundreds of candidates who were de-certified from the ballot, but she successfully petitioned and appeared on the ballot in November 2012.[1]

Tempel filed to run in the 2012 election for South Carolina House of Representatives District 115 but was decertified. She filed and was accepted as a Petition Candidate and was on the ballot for the November 6 general election. Tempel was defeated in the general election[2][3]
