Curry ran in the 2012 election for Connecticut State Senate District 26. Curry ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on August 14, 2012. She was defeated by incumbent Antonietta Boucher (R) and also faced write-in Green Party candidate Remy Chevalier in the general election on November 6, 2012.[1][2][3]
