Carolyn Allen has been a Republican member of the Arizona Senate since 2003. She was subsequently re-elected in 2005, 2007 and 2009. She represents the 8th district.
Education
Allen received her diploma from Hannibal High School in 1955.
Political experience
Allen was elected to the Arizona State House of Representatives in 1994; she served until 2002. In 2001 she became the Majority Leader of the Arizona State House of Representatives. She was elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2003 and currently represents the 8th district.
