A Center Township Road Levy Renewal measures was on the August 3, 2010 ballot in the township of Center which is in Emmet County.

The measure sought to renew the current levy of $1 per $1,000 of assessed value for a further two years in order to continue to help pay for road repairs and maintenance in the township.[1]

Road Millage Renewal

Shall the previously voted increase in the 15 mill tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Section 6 of the Michigan Constitution, on General Ad Valorem Taxes within Center Township be renewed at one (1) mill ($1.00 per $1,000.00 of the taxable value) for the period of 2011 through 2012, inclusive, for the purpose of repairing and improving Township Roads, and shall the Township levy such renewal in millage for said purpose, thereby raising in the first year of levy an estimated $22,384.00?[3]
