Beckett works as an attorney for the City of Bruce and in private practice. He previously served as attorney to the Calhoun County School Board from 1992-2003.
Beckett earned his JD from the University of Mississippi Law School, BA from the University of Mississippi, and AA from Northwest Community College.
He is a member of the Bruce Chamber of Commerce, Bruce Touchdown Club, American Bar Association, Mississippi State Bar Association, Rotary, Calhoun County Bar Association, Mississippi Association of City Attorneys, and the Mississippi Prosecutors Association. [1]
