Elections
2012
Moss ran for the Republican nomination for Governor of North Carolina. He, along with Jim Harney, Scott Jones, James Mahan and Paul Wright, lost to Pat McCrory in the May 8th primary election.[1]
Issues
In an interview with Wilmington, NC news station WECT, Moss said his motto is "we've got to repent," explaining that "everybody in this country has got a stake in what's going on" and encouraged voters to look out for the future of their children and grandchildren.
He advocates for bi-partisan cooperation and encouraged Democrats and Republicans to work more to get along with each other. He said he agrees with "about 80%" of what the Republican Party is doing, but expressed his concern for the homeless and people who are "being left by the wayside."[2]
