Charles Townsend (b. August 29, 1943) was a Republican member of the Wyoming State Senate. He has represented District 1 since 2004. He was re-elected in 2008.

Townsend earned his B.S. in Business from Black Hills State University in 1965.

Townsend has worked as both a rancher and a crude oil producer.[1]
