Chelan County Sales Tax Extension (2009)

The Chelan County Sales Tax Extension is a ballot measure appeared on the August 18, 2009 ballot in Chelan County for county voters. The measure was approved.[1]
The ballot measure, supported and proposd by the area's 911 center, RiverCom, would increase the sales tax in the area in order to pay for new equipment used by the organization. RiverCom's proposal calls for a .10 of a percent sales tax increase on residents.[2]
