Brown ran in the 2012 election for Arizona House of Representatives District 13 as a write-in candidate. Incumbent Steve Montenegro and Darin Mitchell defeated incumbent Russ Jones in the August 28, 2012, Republican primary. She was defeated in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]
