Chris Marr (b. August 20, 1954) is a Washington state senator, currently serving the 6th district.[1] He is serving his first term and is a member of the Democratic Party.
Education
Marr earned his BA from San Francisco State Universtiy in 1979. He went on to earn his MBA in 1981.
Professional experience
Marr worked as a zone manager for Ford Motor Company from 1979 to 1982. He then worked as an area supervisor for McDonald's Corporation from 1982 to 1986. From 1986 to 1990 he worked as general manager for Foothills Auto Group. Marr then became managing partner for Foothills Auto Group and worked in that position from 1990 to 2006.
Political experience
Marr served the Washington State Senate from 2006 to the present. During this time he has served as the Majority Assistant Whip. He currently serves as Majority Whip.
