Christie Carpino is a Republican member of the Connecticut House of Representatives. She has represented the 32nd district since 2011.

Carpino earned her BA from the University of New Hampshire. She went on to receive her JD from Northeastern University. She works for Connecticut Legal Services as a pro bono attorney.

The Institute selects key votes which "reveal the differences between those legislators that would harness the power of individual liberty and the market to improve lives, and those that prefer a centrally-planned approach."
