Two Cincinnati & Fairfax Local Alcohol Questions were on the March 6, 2012 ballot in the designated areas in Cincinnati and Fairfax which are in Hamilton County.

Both measures were approved
Cincinnati

  • YES: 101 (59.41%) Approveda
  • NO: 69 (40.59%)

Fairfax

  • YES: 140 (66.99%) Approveda
  • NO: 69 (33.01%)[1]

Both measures sought to allow the designated locations to sell alcohol on Sundays.[2]

Cincinnati measure: Shall the sale of wine and mixed beverages be permitted for sale on Sunday between the hours of ten a.m. and midnight by Speedway, LLC, dba Speedway 9707, an applicant for a D-6 liquor permit, who is engaged in the business of operating a full-service convenience store at 3601 Columbia Pkwy., Cincinnati, OH 45226 in this precinct?

Fairfax measure: Shall the sale of wine and mixed beverages be permitted for sale on Sunday between the hours of ten a.m. and midnight by Wal Mart Stores East LP dba Wal Mart Supercenter No. 2250, an applicant for a D-6 liquor permit, who is engaged in the business of operating a neighborhood store at 4000 Red Bank, Fairfax, OH 45227 in this precinct?[3]
