Winckler ran in the 2012 election for Iowa House of Representatives District 90. Winckler ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on June 5, 2012. She defeated Ryan Roberson (R) and petition candidate Mark Riley in the general election on November 6, both of whom filed after the primary.[2][3]
2010
Winckler won re-election to the 86th District seat against Ray Ambrose (R). Winckler had no opposition in the Democratic primary. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.[4]
