None of the measures were approved.
These measures asked the same question, if residents in the specified area would like to allow officials to aggregate electricity in order to buy it in bulk and allow for lower rates for residents. The areas included the villages of Algonquin, Cary, Huntly (also in Kane County), Island Lake (also in Lake County), Johnsburg, Ringwood, Spring Grove, Lakewood, Wonder Lake, McCullom Lake and Prairie Grove as well as the cities of Crystal Lake, Marengo, Woodstock and McHenry.
