City & Village Electrical Aggregation Questions, 9 (March 2012)
Six of the measures were approved
These measures sought to allow the designated area officials to aggregate electricity and buy it in bulk so as to obtain lower rates for residents who would also be able to opt out of the program if they wanted. The areas included are the villages of Millington, North Utica, Somanauk (also in DeKalb County) and Sheridan as well as the cities of Mendota, LaSalle, Marseilles, Ottawa and Streator (also in Livingston County).
