was on the November 2, 2010 ballot
for voters in the City of Albany in Alameda County
. It was approved.
A 2/3rds supermajority vote was required for approval.

The editorial board of the Oakland Tribune urged a "yes" vote on Measure P, saying, "Albany emergency services have an average response time of four minutes per call and it's imperative to maintain a high level of service for the community. The tax increase is small and is obviously money well spent."
