City of Arcadia Hotel Taxes, Measure D (April 2012)
Prior to the approval of Measure D, there was a hotel tax in Arcadia, and it was charged to travellers who stay in hotels, motels and other forms of transient lodging in Arcadia for up to 30 days. What Measure D did was change the law so that the transient lodging tax will also be charged to travellers who stay in transient lodging for up to 90 days.
In addition, Measure D changes the existing law so that the hotel tax will be applied "to all rent charged by hotel operators, including online travel companies."
- Election results are from the City of Arcadia elections office as of 3:30 a.m. on April 13, 2012
