The city of Asotin will implement a $.40 per thousand dollars property tax to help pay for emergency medical services in the city. The city expects the tax to collect $28,812.00.

The ballot read:

"Shall a special levy be collected in 2010 of twenty-eight thousand eight hundred twelve dollars ($28,812.00) requiring approximately forty cent ($0.40) per thousand of assessed valuation for the City of Asotin to pay for Emergency Medical Services." [2]
