A City of Cheviot tax levy was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Hamilton County, Ohio where it was defeated.[1]

This measure would have added a tax levy for current expenses commencing in 2012 to be first due in 2013.

Text of the Measure

Language on the ballot:

An additional tax for the benefit of the City of Cheviot, County of Hamilton, Ohio, for the purpose of CURRENT

EXPENSES at a rate not exceeding four (4) mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to forty cents ($0.40) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.[1][2]
