A City of Compton Fireworks Ban, Measure F ballot proposition was on the April 21, 2009 ballot in Los Angeles, California for voters in the City of Compton, where it was defeated.

If Measure F had passed, it would have added a new Section 1704 to the city's charter, which would have said, "Section 1704. Ban on Fireworks. It shall be unlawful for any person to possess, store, offer for sale, expose for sale, sell for retail, use, discharge, or explode any fireworks within the City of Compton."

"Shall the City Charter be amended to add a new Section 1704 to ban the possession, storage, sale and/or use of all fireworks within the City of Compton?"

Spanish:
