A City of Compton Change in Election Dates, Measure P ballot proposition was on the June 2, 2009 ballot in Los Angeles County for voters in the City of Compton, where it was defeated.

Measure P, if it had been enacted, would have amended Section 500 of the Compton City Charter to increase the population threshold from 100,000 residents to 150,000 residents before the City Council could take action to increase the City districts from four to six.
