City of Eastvale Appropriations Limit, Measure BB (November 2012)
Measure BB is approved set an annual appropriations limit of $15,518,412 for the relatively new City of Eastvale.
New cities in California are required to determine a permanent appropriations limit and submit it to voters at the first election after the first full year of incorporation.
Eastvale had a provisional appropriations limit of $13,938,809 which was set by the Riverside County Local Agency Formation Commission. If Measure BB had failed, that provisional limit would have remained in effect until the city's voters did approve an appropriations limit.
Eastvale's City Council has adopted a $9.3 million budget.
