A City of Eureka Sales Tax, Measure D ballot question was on the November 4, 2008 ballot for voters in the City of Eureka in Humboldt County, California, where it was approved.

Measure D imposed a one quarter of one percent (0.25%) transaction and use tax, and simultaneously repealed the city's existing three percent (3%) utility user tax.

Measure D: "Shall the Eureka Municipal Code be amended to add a one quarter of one percent (0.25%) transaction and use tax to fund essential services such as police, fire, street maintenance, environmental programs, and parks and recreation? Should the tax be approved by voters the existing three percent (3%) utility user tax would be repealed."
