City of Lancaster election consolidation, Measures A and B (April 2008)

Two City of Lancaster Election Consolidation Proposals, Measures A and B, were on the April 8, 2008 ballot for voters in the City of Lancaster in Los Angeles County.

Both measures were advisory and both measures were approved.

Measures A and B were about whether the City of Lancaster should consolidate its municipal elections (which at the time of the April 2008 vote were held in April of even-numbered years) with the countywide school district elections held in November of odd-numbered years. The difference between the two advisory measures was about whether the consolidation should begin in 2009 (Measure A) or in 2011 (Measure B).
