There was a City of Petersburg General Obligation Bond on the October 6, 2009 ballot ballot in Petersburg.
This bond will be in the amount of $3,000,000 and will be used to build, repair, upgrade and maintain electrical generators, distribution centers and infrastructure related to electricity transmission. This bond will be created from the revenues of the cities electricity utilities.
