City of San Marino Term Limits, Measure C (March 2009)
The question voters decided, on an advisory basis, was whether members of the San Marino City Council should be limited to two four-year consecutive terms, such that if a politician wanted to serve additional terms on the city council, he or she would have to take a hiatus of two years in between eight-year stints on the council.
- These final election results are from the Los Angeles County election office.
The question on the ballot:
|Measure A: "Shall the terms of members of the City Council be limited to two (2) four (4) year consecutive terms, with a hiatus of two (2) years before being eligible to hold office again as a Member of the City Council?"|
