A City of Union City parcel tax, Measure UU ballot question was on the November 4, 2008 ballot for voters in the City of Union City in Alameda County, where it was approved.

Measure UU extended a pre-existing "public safety services tax" for eight years.

Measure UU was on the ballot just six months after voters in the city rejected Measure K. Measure K would have extended the city's pre-existing parcel tax for twenty years, instead of for the more modest eight years requested in Measure UU.

A 2/3rds supermajority vote was required for approval.
