A City of Vallejo Marijuana Tax, Measure C ballot question was on the November 8, 2011 ballot for voters in the City of Vallejo in Solano County, where it was approved.[1]
Measure C's approval means that marijuana businesses in the city will be taxed at the rate of 10% of gross receipts, with a minimum base tax of $500.
Although the exact figure is not known, it is estimated that there are somewhere between 13 and 23 medical marijuana dispensaries located in Vallejo.[1]
