Claudia Kauffman was a Democratic member of the Washington State Senate. She had represented District 47 since 2007. She was the Assistant Majority Whip in the senate.[1]

Kauffman attended both the University of Idaho and Oglala Lakota College.

Kauffman is currently a small business owner. She is also a charity fund/federal relations liaison for Muckleshoot Tribe.[2]
