Claudia Kauffman is a Washington state senator, currently serving the 47th district.[1] She has occupied her senate seat since 2007 and is a member of the Democratic Party.
Education
Kauffman attended both the University of Idaho and Oglala Lakota College.
Professional experience
Kauffman is currently a small business owner. She is also a charity fund/federal relations liaison for Muckleshoot Tribe.

Kauffman has served in the Washington State Senate since 2007. She is currently the Assistant Majority Whip in the senate.
