Clayton H.W. Hee is a Democratic state senator in the Hawaii Senate, representing the 23rd district.
Education
Hee earned his BA from the University of Hawaii in 1975. He went on to receive his Professional Diploma from the University of Hawaii in 1977. He then earned his MA in Pacific Islands Studies from the University of Hawaii in 1979.
Professional experience
Hee was a teacher from 1975 to 1981. He is currently a business owner and Consultant.
Political experience
Hee served in the Hawaii State House of Representatives from 1982 to 1984. He was also a candidate for the United States House of Representatives, District 2, Hawaii, in 2006. He served in the Hawaii State Senate from 1984 to 1988 and again from 2004 to the present. He represents the 23rd district.
