Two Cleveland, Westlake Local Option Questions were on the March 6, 2012 ballot in the cities of Cleveland and Westlake which are in Cuyahoga County.

Both measures were approved
Cleveland

  • YES: 99 (51.84%) Approveda
  • NO: 92 (48.16%)

Westlake

  • YES: 168 (67.2%) Approveda
  • NO: 82 (32.8%)[1]

Both measures sought to allow the sale of alcohol on Sundays in the designated locations.[2]

Cleveland Question: Shall the sale of beer, wine and mixed beverages be permitted for sale on Sunday between the hours of ten a.m. and midnight by 4741 L.L.C. dba City Mart, an applicant for a D-6 liquor permit and holder of C-1 and C-2 liquor permits, who is engaged in the business of a convenience store at 4741 W. 130th Street, Cleveland, OH 44135 in this precinct?[3]
