Colby Coash (1972-) is a member of the Nebraska Unicameral, representing District 27 since 2009.

Born in Bassett, Nebraska, Coash is the first Republican to hold the District 27 seat since 1972. He won by just 79 votes. [1]. His interest in government first came when he worked to defeat a bill that would have resulted in him losing his high school job.[2]

Coash earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1998.

Coash works as the director of staff development for Collaborative Industries.

Coash is currently involved with the Association of Community Professionals and the Mentor, Blessed Sacrament Church God-Teen Program.

Coash won re-election in the 2012 election for Nebraska State Senate District 27. Coash was unopposed in the May 15 primary election and defeated Kyle Michaelis in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[4][5]
