A Colorado "Right-to-Foreclosure" Amendment did not make the November 6, 2012 ballot in Colorado. The measure would have required lenders to prove their right to foreclose on property. The proposal was introduced by Corine Fowler and Stephen A. Brunette, who filed the initiative as representatives of proponents of the measure.[1][2]
Path to the ballot
Supporters of the measure are required to collect at least 85,853 valid signatures by the August 6, 2012 petition drive deadline in order to make the November 6, 2012 general election ballot.
