The language that appeared on the ballot:

An amendment to Articles IV, V, and XII of the Constitution of the State of Colorado, concerning the revision of functions and procedures of the Executive and Legislative Departments of the State of Colorado, providing for filling vacancies in state offices, and relieving the lieutenant governor of legislative duties.[1]
