The Colorado Old Age Pensions Amendment, also known as Measure 5, was on the November 3, 1936 ballot in Colorado as an initiated constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure provided for a $45.00 per month pension for the elderly and designated certain tax revenues for the payment of such pensions.[1]
