Colter McCarty was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 18 of the Montana House of Representatives.


Campaign themes


McCarty supports "diverse energy production" and "infrastructural improvements and advancements that will keep Montana ahead of the curve when it comes to technological access and innovation," and views federal education standards as an "inflexible" hindrance to Montana teachers.[1]

McCarty ran in the 2012 election for Montana House of Representatives, District 18. McCarty ran unopposed in the June 5 primary election and was defeated by incumbent Jesse O'Hara (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
