Columbia, Midview & Wellington School District Levy Additions, 3 (November 2010)

Three School District Levy Addition measures were on the November 2, 2010 ballot in the school districts of Columbia, Midview and Wellington, which are all in Lorain County.

The Columbia school measure sought to add to the current school property tax by a rate of $.20 per $100 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to help pay for general improvements as needed by the school district.

The Midview school measure sought to add to the current school property tax by a rate of $.75 per $100 of assessed property value for a further ten years in order to help pay for emergency requirements as needed in the school district.

The Wellington school measure sought to add to the current school property tax by a rate of $.50 per $100 of assessed property value for a continued period of time in order to help pay for current operational costs in the school district[1]
