There were five Columbia County Local Alcohol Sales measures on the May 4 ballot in Columbiana County for voters in the townships of Madison and St. Clair.

All four of these measures were defeated by over 60 percent.[1]

The Madison measure sought to allow the Sunday sale of alcohol in the Rock Camp area.

The first St. Clair measures sought to allow the sale of alcohol in the Calcutta area, at a specific restaurant and the second sought to allow that same restaurant to also sell alcohol on Sundays.

The third St. Clair measure sought to allow the sale of alcohol in the eastern part of town at a specific convenience store and the fourth sought to also allow that store to sell alcohol on Sundays.[2]
