A Columbia Township Waste District tax levy was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Hamilton County, Ohio, where it was approved.[1]

This measure renewed a tax levy for 3.5 mills for 3 years for garbage and waste services and commences in 2012 to be first due in 2013.

Text of the Measure

Language on the ballot:

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Columbia Township Waste District, County of Hamilton, Ohio, for the purpose of COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL OF GARBAGE OR REFUSE, INCLUDING YARD WASTE at a rate not exceeding three and five-tenths (3.5) mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to thirty-five cents ($0.35) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for three (3) years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.[1][2]
