Two Concord Township Road & Fire Levy Renewal measures were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the township of Concord, which is in Champaign County.

Both measures were approved

The first measure sought to renew the current road levy which is set at a rate of $.25 per $100 of assessed property value for a further three years in order to continue to pay for the road construction, repair and resurfacing in the township.

Road Measure:A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Concord Township for the purpose of PROVIDING FOR THE GENERAL CONSTRUCTION, RECONSTRUCTION, RESURFACING AND REPAIR OF ROADS AND BRIDGES at a rate not exceeding 2.5 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.25 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for three years, commencing in 2011, first due in calendar year 2012.

Fire Measure:A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Concord Township for the purpose of PROVIDING FIRE PROTECTION AND AMBULANCE SERVICE at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.10 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for three years, commencing in 2011, first due in calendar year 2012.
