Two down ballot state executive positions were up for election in the state of Connecticut in 2014. The two down ballot offices on the ballot in 2014 were the Connecticut Treasurer and the Connecticut Comptroller. The general election took place November 4, 2014.

Incumbents Denise L. Nappier (D) and Kevin Lembo (D) ran for and won re-election to the treasurer and comptroller offices, respectively.[1] They both faced Republican opponents, while Green Party candidate Rolf Maurer was the third candidate in the comptroller race.

Connecticut is one of 21 states with a mixed primary system. Though parties decide who may vote in their primary election, the primary is considered closed as neither the Democratic Party nor the Republican Party allow any voter but those registered with their party to vote.[2]
