Two Continental Village Current & Police Levy Renewal measures were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the village of Continental which is in Putnam County.

Both measures were approved

The first measure sought to renew the current expenses levy which is set at a rate of $.15 per $100 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to continue to pay for current expenses in the village.

Issue 1

The question on the ballot:

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Village of Continental for the purpose of current expenses at a rate not exceeding 1.5 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.15 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.[3]
