A Copperopolis Fire Protection District Gann Limit Increase, Measure C ballot question was on the November 6, 2012, ballot for voters in the Copperopolis Fire Protection District in Calaveras County, where it was approved.[1]

Measure C renewed the Copperopolis Fire Protection District's $550,000 budget limit for another four years. This authorization was first approved in 1997 and then again in 2002.[2]

Increasing an authorization limit does not increase taxes. Rather, it allows the unit of government that seeks the increase to spend all the money it is raising in taxes.
