Atkins won re-election in the 2012 election for Massachusetts House of Representatives Fourteenth Middlesex District. Atkins was unopposed in the September 6 Democratic primary and defeated Michael Benn (R) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2]
2010
Atkins won re-election to the Fourteenth Middlesex Seat in 2010. He had no primary opposition. He defeated K.C. Winslow (I) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[3]
