  • County taxes can be paid online.[2]

The bad

  • Term dates for county board members are not posted.
  • Only the current year's budget is available.[3] No audited financial reports were found.
  • Request for bids are posted, but there is no information for outside vendors about the bidding and contracting process, and no listing of recently awarded contracts.[4]
  • No information concerning the county's relations with lobbying associations is provided. But the Virginia Association of Counties lists the county as a member.[5]
  • There is no information about how to make FOIA requests and no record of the county's FOIA compliance.
  • The site has no search function.
