Curtis Worthy was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 21 of the North Carolina State Senate.

Worthy's professional experience includes working as an Auditor at Internal Revenue Service, NIGR at Providence Finance Company, and Deputy Sheriff for Cumberland County. He served in the U.S. Army in 1966.

Worthy earned his B.S. from Fayettevill State University in 1978.
