A Cuyahoga County Health Levy Renewal measure was on the March 6, 2012 ballot in Cuyahoga County.

  • NO: 71,318 (31.69%)[1]

This measure sought to renew the current health levy which was set at a rate of $.48 per $100 of assessed property value for a further four years in order to continue to pay for health and social services offered in the county.[2]

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the County of Cuyahoga for the purpose of supplementing general fund appropriations for health and human or social services at a rate not exceeding 4.8 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to 48 cents for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for four years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.[3]
