Creem served on the Governor's Council from 1994 to 1999, the Newton Board of Aldermen from 1976 to 1994, and the Newton City Council.
Biography
Creem earned her B.S. in Business Administration and J.D. from Boston University. Creem's professional experience includes working as an attorney with Stone, Stone, and Creem since 1966.[1]
In 2010, Creem was named Legislator of the Year by the Southern Poverty Law Center. The award is presented each year to a state or federal legislator who has made great contributions to the legal profession, courts and administration of justice.[2]

Creem won re-election in the 2012 election for Massachusetts State Senate First Middlesex and Norfolk District. Creem was unopposed in the September 6 Democratic primary and was unopposed in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[3][4]
2010
Creem won re-election to the First Middlesex and Norfolk District Seat in 2010. Charles Rudnick ran against her in the primary. The primary election took place on September 14, 2010. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.
